HSS Cobalt 5% machine taps are manufactured from high-quality alloy high-speed turning steel. By adding Cobalt, a very high hardness is achieved to cope with steels that are difficult to machine. Full grinding during the production process produces a very sharp drill bit with high precision. Very suitable for use in alloy steels and hard-to-machine steels such as stainless steel.

  • Consists of the strong material Cobalt (M35). M35 is similar to M2, but with 5% Cobalt added. M35 is also known as Cobalt Steel, HSSE or HSS-E. It cuts faster and lasts longer than M2.
