• Digital - In particular, setting all parameters is particularly easy via the clearly laid-out control panel. The rotary knob and buttons for selecting functions and welding parameters are easily accessible and simple to operate, even with welding gloves. The intuitive menu navigation allows effortless adjustment of all values, such as pulse frequency, gas post flow time or welding current. All selected parameters are clearly visible on the LED display.
• Pulse - The pulse function is especially useful when welding thin sheets. Even under difficult conditions, the arc can be stabilised because the pulse frequency can be controlled up to 200 Hz. It is also possible to select different parameters such as the initial, base or final current for welding with pulse current and adjust it optimally to the workpiece using the rotary knob.
• IGBT - The modern IGBT converter impresses with the precise implementation of the selected welding parameters and thus enables perfect welds. Moreover, it supports effortless switching between typical TIG welding functions and easy switching between 2- or 4-stroke welding. The welding arc is activated via the proven high-frequency ignition (HF).
• TIG - The ergonomically shaped welding torch produces few sparks and spatter during TIG welding and enables high-quality, clean welds that hardly deform. The TIG welding process of the IOTA 200 welder uses direct current (DC), so it can be used for almost all types of metal and their alloys, such as copper, nickel, titanium or steel. • HOT-Start - The hot-start function of the electrode welding unit provides a briefly increased welding current at the beginning of the welding process. This "hot start" heats the weld seam optimally at the starting point, preventing electrode sticking and ensuring stable welding from the very first moment.
• ARC-Force - Using the ARC FORCE function, the arc of light can be adjusted according to the material to be welded and the desired density of the weld seam. Via the digital control panel, you can set the amperage level for ARC Force and the duration for hot start.
