HSS Cobalt 5% metal drills are made of high-quality alloy high-speed steel. By adding Cobalt, a very high hardness is achieved to cope with steels that are difficult to chip. Full grinding during the manufacturing process produces a very sharp drill bit with high precision. The precise split-point sharpening ensures that the drill bit centres itself and makes the desired holes without vibration. This, in combination with cutting oil, gives the drills a very long service life. Very suitable for use in alloyed steels and difficult-to-machine steels such as stainless steel.
