Use and functions

AIMg5 is a magnesium alloy aluminium TIG rod
It is used for joining aluminium alloys with high mechanical properties
The precipitate has good resistance to atmospheric influences and seawater
The weld metal is suitable for surface treatment such as anodising and polishing
It is recommended to preheat to 150°C for welding sheets thicker than 15 mm.
Shielding gas: Ar
GeKaTec F-LH1 is recommended for oxyfuel welding
