Use and functions
- It is used in steel and mechanical engineering, welding of ships, boilers, tanks and pipes, welding of fine-grained steel, welding of thin sheet metal, steel furniture, bodies, exhaust and bodywork.
- Pure Ar is used as a shielding gas in TIG welding and CO2 / Ar+ CO2 mixed gases are used in MAG welding.
- It can be used up to operating temperatures of up to 350°C-400°C.
